Food Before Fuel

Ethanol has already been named the worst bipartisan policy ever. So its positive that there is an actual campaign now to get the US to repeal the subsidies that have led to us burning our food and increasing global food prices. “Food Before Fuel” is a great way of making the point that it is really a dumb idea to burn fuel in the face of rising demand and increased prices. I’m not terribly optimistic that they will be able to get legislators to repeal subsidies, at least in the short term, but the simple existence of the campaign is a positive thing.
